I can't help it. Once I get my teeth into perfecting a pattern, I will sew, and sew, and sew the same garment over and over again. Now I've finally perfected the leotard pattern.
I mean, I perfected one before, the coral red one, but that was the pattern for very stretchy fabrics with Lycra. This one is for jersey-but-not-incredibly -stretchy fabrics. Without Lycra. And it's done.
I love this fabric, it's called Ellie's Garden (larger print) and is by Kristenstein on Spoonflower. This designer makes some awesome and bright arty prints.
I would so wear this leotard with jeans., and I'm pleased with the way the pattern falls, especially that heart shaped leaf on the torso.
Rachel is growing weary of leotards.
